The Meat Fight 1K is a true Texas Triathlon: Beer, BBQ and Bourbon. It’s the unholy union of fair food and sweatbands. And it's all for a great cause: to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Meat Fight's Meat Bike Program, which gives bikes to people who have MS.
There will be corn dogs from Luscher’s, massive amounts of barbecued meats from Patina Green, Local Yocal, Slow Bone, Lockhart Smokehouse, Heim BBQ, Smoken S Barbecue, One90 BBQ, popsicles from Pop Star, cold brew from Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters, beer from TUPPS Brewery and Four Corners Brewery, bourbon from the good folks at Buffalo Trace and so much more.
The challenge: participants must eat at 12 of the 20 vendor stations on the course. If they complete that task, they’ll earn a finisher medal and the chance to win 2 tickets to Meat Fight in November!
The Ticket's Mike Sirois, Cash, and Sean Bass will be there, to kick off the race. The event starts when we slingshoot a brisket into the air. Let's do this dance. Go meat!! Go MF1K!!
